LGAte 1,485 Posted Monday at 07:33 PM Share Posted Monday at 07:33 PM (edited) Since Gaga has officially, for the first time post-previous album, acknowledged upcoming music by teasing a fan on TikTok asking her to be quicker when it comes to releasing albums and then responding “Don’t worry 💗💗”, this means we get to enter into a beloved pastime here on GagaDaily: the “pre” era. From “Hooker on a Church Corner” (the Pre-LG3 Era), to Radio ARTFLOP (pre-LG4/ARTPOP Era) to “Chaos Angel/Frankenstein” (Pre-LG5) to “Fresh Paint “ (Pre-LG6) to the endless random “darkGa” rumors Pre-LG7….its safe to say we always love a tease. Funny enough the fans have been better at figuring stuff out pre-Chromatica and pre-Mayhem. Like when fans clocked Stupid Love as the lead single title when she had it written in an Instagram photo months before release and fans screamed it in the audience at the Miami Enigma show to even fans accurately calling Abracadabra the right name when she played it at the Olympics and then correctly predicting it would be the song presented at the Grammys. so here we are folks…day 1 of LG8. Rev your engines, baddies. What’s coming next? I love a fake rumor. Because every now and then…they’re kinda spot on. I’ll start. My theory is that she used the double pink heart “💗 💗” as a wink to Chromatica which was the pink heart. I think that means we are getting another house/electronic album. 💿 I also think this makes sense because there were already rumors she was working with Peggy Gou in the studio a few months ago and then there was ALOT of TikTok positive reactivity to the John Summit collab hype. I think she is ironically gonna push up against the mom narrative (because we expect a more chill album) and do something totally uptempo and celebratory and fun. At the Grammys she said “I’m just getting warmed up” and she said it’s crazy to think a woman of a certain age “can’t be a POP star”. She said this at the same time she was explicitly talking about becoming a mom, too. I think she knows she is not doing a slow album.
