Panchecco 17,614
I believe "The Art of Personal Caos" 2.0 is the best stage show Gaga has ever written, directed and produced. For me it has even surpassed the Born This Way Ball and the Chromatica Ball. Let me know what you think Spoiler wrote this analysis this morning and quickly made an image for it as soon as I got to work but I didn't realize that there were so many typos I am so sorry 1 4
GerMonsterNotta 1,431
Thanks for making this thread, I love discussion like this. your interpretation also makes sense to me. for me, Mistress represents all of her darkness, ART, chaos and pain….. which was larger than life at the start of the show…. mistress pushes away and tries to kill the light, peaceful side of Gaga, who then falls into a dream…, I think the dream is symbolic of when her popstar career kicked off……. inside the dream she goes full fame monster, she’s full POP mother monster ….the Mistress demands to find her whilst Gaga is thriving, to awake her up from her dream, to bring her back to chaos and pain…. However this time Gaga reinvented herself….. she’s now a solider of love and acceptance and only now with her new sense of self-worth is she ready to face Mayhem again …… with the bravery she now shows, Mayhem discovers Gaga has grown, and now instead of torturing her, actually takes her to her piano and to a place deep within her soul… here Gaga contemplates her fans, life and what love really means to her… she finds out that the people that mattered the most loved her EVEN during chaos, and stuck by her…. and with this realisation she runs back to her torturer and finally is reborn as a hybrid, with her stage persona now balanced with light and dark…… but during the process, she released BOTH the light Gaga and the dark Gaga personas out of her…. and now has the confidence to face her human self - as Stefani - and ALSO gave her the confidence to ‘own’ her full career journey, even ARTPOP which is always described as the most challenging time for Gaga. Love the image of the soldier! The MJ inspired outfit is also very similar to a military uniform! I think Marry The Night would have fit so well in this section or even replacing Million Reasons. "I'm a soldier to my own empyteness I am winner" declaring that Gaga now has taken control back after Mayhem held this power for the first 2 Acts. We all love act III because it absolutely is the Monster Balll Gaga we fell in love with!
