Random theory I have about the outro songs on this tour and ARTPOP act ii

Gaga has 74 original songs (including happy mistake)

She has 63 shows. She included 27 songs in the setlist.

I am inclined to believe that she is going to play the non-ballads & then play a new track from a reissue of Mayhem.

She said a few months ago the songs aren't good enough to be released... when documents leaked like 2 years ago, I think her contract said she cannot use old unreleased tracks for a new album, act 2 is never coming period

There is always a chance that we might get "ARTPOP 2", but it would only be her revisiting the concept of ARTPOP itself with completely new music and ideas, not with old unreleased songs.

I mean Joanne she's at least revisited a song once or twice after the era. Even if its just using the biggest hit in Engima & Mayhem or a ballad for a political point at CBT. 

Chromatica's not even been lucky enough to have its big hit turn up at promo shows or the following tour.

I don't think it's just the album ARTPOP she's going to play, I believe she's gonna play every (or most of it) song of her solo discography, maybe even a little bit of ASIB Ally originals, not sure if she'll include the ballads.

Pretty sure she's doing it to hype the crowd while exiting/ending the show! And the suspense of "omg what song is she going to play at the end", so I'm not really keen on the idea of her playing +53 unreleased songs from just ARTPOP, that kinda seem unfair for the rest of the albums. 😅

EDIT: Also me think's once she releases a deluxe or "Dead Dance", she might play it as the last song too as a surprise encore song then maybe work a way to insert it on the rest of the shows, probably on Act III?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t she say the album wasn’t genuine, and that she was depressed? I’m pretty sure she had her psychotic break after the album’s rollout too.

I know some of you won't like what I'm about to say for some reason, but I really think she's been taking a few pages out of Taylor's book lately. Some aspects of the show have really brought to mind key aspects of the Eras Tour, like the light wristbands and the catwalk being one long screen with constant animations. I know these were not Taylor's inventions, but they were essential aspects of what made the Eras Tour pretty unique.

More to the point, Gaga's been getting really cryptic this era and has enjoyed dropping little easter eggs here and there for us to figure things out, which is something she hasn't done in ages and arguably a method made quite infamous by Taylor. I do think the unknown lyrics on her merch and website will lead somewhere, and I feel like these outro songs are shaping up to having a purpose. This is pretty exciting.

I mean, tbf, Gaga was doing cryptic Easter eggs long before Taylor, but I agree that Taylor likely inspired her to do it again in a more streamlined way.

Yes of course, but she had arguably abandoned dropping hints for years. CrypticGa came back in a major way this era.

And honestly it’s all the better for us. To the inevitable Taylor haters, I’ll say a good idea is a good idea.
