People didn't buy tickets to the same show live though. Gaga was very careful to market the Coachella/Mexico City/Rio/Singapore show as being its own thing. I won't be mad if it is the same show with a minor tweak or two, but to say people bought tickets expecting to see that show when those shows were very clearly not marketed as being part of the Mayhem Ball is disingenuous 

I actually bought my tickets expecting it to be the exact same show. How could I miss it?!? I’ve been seeing Gaga live and in person since October 2008. It wouldn’t matter if I’d seen the show streamed a billion times there just truly nothing like being at a live Gaga show. Consider me an outlier I guess

I did also, I just don't think it's quite fair to argue that that was the majority assumption.

Omg…. I saw the Fame Ball tour at the mezzanine in San Francisco. I think my ticket was like $30 at most. I was mid-way into my first year of being 18 years old. What a time. Those were simpler times in life 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Idk I always thought it was far fetched that she would mount two completely different shows over the span of like 6-7 months

The Dive Bar Tour and The Joanne World Tour, Enigma and Jazz and Piano, artRAVE and Roseland Ballroom, the two Monster Balls.. she's definitely done it before.

I'm personally expecting it to be the Coachella show with a few tweaks, and am extremely excited to see that show in September. But I don't see why people always act like it's absurd for people to think that it might possibly be a different show.

just bought my ticket for the 26th in SF! regardless of if it is the same show or not, seeing this album live is what I care about most. this is my favorite album of her entire career and I cannot wait to hear the songs transformed into live versions
