Heavy makeup and certain hairstyles age the crap out of you. I think that’s why she’s looked old sometimes. If you look at her no/light makeup photos with what appears to be her real hair, she’s always looked her age imho.

Definitely long or loose hair make her look younger. This hairstyle made her look like she was 5 year older than she actually was

But also, no shade but i thought she was like 40 when I watched Bad Romance MV.

Gaga looks the best she ever looked IMO, it looks natural and she looks much younger than her age.

She now looked like a mix of 2010 and 2015. She looks exactly like a black hair version of AlejandroGa at the Mayhem shows. Also her will bare makeup looks younger than ever. In Joanne era I thought we won't be able to see that Gaga anymore, but she came back with Coachella, some random backstage photoshoot in JWT to proof that I was wrong. I always amazed that how different she can look everyday, even though I'm used to the debut Gaga changing even more from day to day but still fun to see the transformation.

She def has the fillers in her face but she still very much looks like herself esp. compared to ASIB/Joanne/HoG era. Love her natural face so much, so classically gorgeous.

I get what OP is saying. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with cosmetic enhancements or lack thereof, and I don't think there's anything insulting about it. 

Some people have a mature look, so even when they're young, they look older – not because of wrinkles or anything like that, but because they give off a more mature vibe in terms of their bone structure, how they dress, how they style their hair, how they carry themselves, how they do their makeup, etc. 

Conversely, some people look younger than they are  – maybe it's a baby face, maybe it's how they dress, how they carry themselves, how they do their hair, how they do their makeup, etc. 

The great thing with the former is as the person ages biologically, their appearance doesn't, so at some point, their biological age becomes older than how they look, hence Gaga appearing 34 to the OP even though she's now 39.

Uhm I don't think so? I remember in the HOG era she looked like 40 or something. Her make up was... interesting that era. Now in this era she looks amazing and more young, she now looks more 30-35.

This happened to me too. Until the fatal 50 old blow.

Some apples mature slower or rot earlier than others.

I think Gaga looks her age now and it's just fine. Especially when she wiggles in a sandbox...

I think makeup plays a huge role. She wore thick draggy makeup in the early days, with thick lashes which makes her look older.

She looks glamorous during TFM-BTW which saw her losing a lot of weight. 

And then ARTPOP came and she looks fresh and healthy! Loved the way she looked then

She looks smoking hot during the AHS era. It was the beginning of Epione eraa.

But then I guess she got obsessed with changing her face with fillers. It was a different person every year 😂 

She now looks like herself again ... Reminds me of the TFM era, but healthier looking and fresh faced like ARTPOP.

I think the reason for this is less about how she looks and more about how she marketed/presented herself. She never made music catered to children and teenagers. She's just always done what she has found cool and her confidence and intelligence makes her seem very motherly and wise.

She looks a lot younger now than during Chromatica. I’m glad she seems to have toned down some of the filler. She’s beautiful in all iterations of herself, but for a while she had the same exact face every other celebrity getting filler had, where they all just kinda looked like amorphous Kardashians
