Beyonce replaces flying car with horse

Beyonce has replaced the flying car from the Cowboy Carter Tour shows after the car malfunctioned during a recent concert.

The singer debuted a new flying gold horse during the opening night of her four-show run at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday (July 10).

Ever since the opening night of the tour, Beyonce has performed “16 Carriages” at the end of the show by flying around the stadium in a vintage car.  Beyonce appeared to nearly fall out of the floating car when it began to tip over while in the air during the June 28 show in her hometown of Houston, Texas. She cut the flying car from the show after that performance and now she has a horse. source

I don't know, I think there's something really special about the image of a flying car, especially a vintage car. There's a dichotomy between past and future that's relevant to her brand and current era. She's done the flying horse before. If it's too dangerous, just stop flying gurl.

Honestly, they probably retired the car because it was too much of a hassle to repair and likely would have had the potential to fail again in future. 

I like your take on the imagery of the car. I just think from a staging perspective, the horse having a much smaller base profile will make the visual for fans on the floor better. 

And tbf, the styling of the horse does continue some of that past/future dichotomy.

I already can see the tour movie: First part of the song on the car, then the Houston incident, some backstage footage, and bam, rest of the song on the horse (Like she did with ALIEN SUPERSTAR on the RWT movie)
