Myanmar, for instance, under the military dictatorship when it was Burma often relied on a Buddhist nationalism to legitimise it's leadership. This included forced conversions. And there are a number of militant groups in the region like DKBA or the 969 movement. 
And in Sri Lanka, Buddhism is tied to the national identity and involved in a lot of sectarian conflict with regional minorities. 

Another example is how shintoism in Japan was used to help justify the Sino-Japanese conflict & WW2 involvement. 

No religion long term historically rooted religion is free from a history tainted by bloodshed. Our perceptions of where it's prominent or which religions are worse for it are shaped by regional bias, time and to the size and scale of the religion itself. It's "mostly" the Abrahamic religions purely because the Abrahamic religions are so widely spread and are some of the largest denominations globally in the modern age.

But religious violence, religious tensions and sectarianism pre-date the abrahamic religions. Look at how many conflicts of Ancient Greece were carried out on the basis that "One of the gods said to do it because they had beef with another god". 
The issue isn't religion itself, it's the fact that every state in history has used the majority belief system to create a state mythos to uphold its rule.  

You’re right. Even if there was no religion in the world, we’d still find a way to justify harming each other.
