I’m feeling like when you start with an amazing appetizer but the main course is just…. ok, and then you don’t feel like getting dessert.

Loved Disease and Abracadabra.

The album turned out to be my least favorite from her.

I haven’t listened for 2 months and I don’t even listen to the songs I actually like from the album.

Mayhem isn’t my album of the year and I’m not attending the tour due to the rushed schedule and lack of diversity in dates.

The era came and went for me honestly.

The era was going really strong from early March to the end of May. June has been very quiet… but it’s likely because she’s preparing the tour.

But yeah, I’m getting hungry again! I wish she would at least give us a little appetizer while we wait for the next big thing. As for a new single? I really hope we get one but it will be tough to top Abracadabra. I trust that she has the entire year planned with great things for us!

Tbh there was more promo than I thought there would ever be, it seems like long jam packed eras are like non existent these days? Like even the newer girls don’t really promote anymore. I’ll be happy if we get another music video plus the tour to look forward to! :oohrightthereyeah:

Even if Gaga had released MAYHEM and nothing else I would have been happy. But besides giving us one of her best albums so far, she gave us several fun and interesting interviews, two amazing music videos, an entire episode of SNL, TV performances, Coachella and she took The Art of Personal Chaos to Mexico, Rio de Janeiro (breaking attendance records) and Singapore. And now she’s about to start a world tour.

I often feel like this fanbase doesn't appreciate enough what we get. We spent 5 years waiting for a new album and after a month of MAYHEM, people were already saying that they were tired of it and couldn't wait for LG8. I understand that the streaming era has fundamentally changed how people consume music, but I think that with this behavior we run the risk of taking for granted big and important things.

This is honestly the most ungrateful fandom imho, and people are holding her to unimaginably high standards.

Every other fandom out there would kill for their faves to give interviews like that, or do different shows from snl to the whole personal art of chaos thing to tudum in the span of 3-4 months. And let’s not forget those amazing tributes she did this year. Can you imagine if bey or taylor did all that? The beyhive and swifties would be flaunting the era like crazy.

But no, here we whine about "LG7 is over" just because she goes mia to WORK HER BUTT OFF giving us another BRAND NEW SHOW/TOUR..

i’m in a healthy middle. i love the album and i’m so happy but i would just like one more music video, or for her to share a cute video from tour rehearsals or something - i miss how close we felt to her in 2011/2012 but i also totally understand why things changed.

i’m a woman, i insist, it’s my life ♀

Excited to wait five years for more new content since apparently it’s a wrap on MAYHEM. At this point, the era needs renamed to RESTFUL.

But like… for real. Let’s play the dang game. Give us the Brat treatment. Remix album w/new collabs to get new singles. Give it the Eternal Sunshine. Deluxe with some new songs. The work is good. The groundwork is laid. Just do something.

gaga couldve had the biggest era shes ever had but shes lost momentum and shes touring so shortly after the releasing of the album i wish she wouldve spent more time releasing singles and doing award show performances

More singles weren't guaranteed to succeed. Post-album singles almost always fail in the current industry.

Gaga's done the right thing and pivoted to what does matter at the moment to sustaining an era in the industry.

Its just not great for those of us who grew up when album eras were truly monolithic moments if successful.

Tbf Gaga was essentially queen of the music video format during the first peak of her career. And most fans are from that era and still view music through that lense and experience.

The reality now is though is that music videos are almost entirely dead as an artform. They dont break even and there's little to no platform for them anymore. The world's left music video lovers behind.

Yeah. 7 US cities is not enough and I am not willing to travel for this era. So I just chose not to attend. Not to mention the ridiculous scam prices.
