I tried to get London tickets on Friday, knew I wouldn’t get them when I was number 3500 in the queue for a 2k venue.

My friend tried the presale and the queue was 100k for the same 2k venue :traumatica:

She has enough hype and interest for arenas! Incredible really considering it’s her first tour

I think context matters here. It's great for adisson, a new and upcoming artist to have this warm reception. But selling low for an established artists aka MPG like whoever that is, is just not a good look. :ororomunroe:

it's still a double standard though? Selling 2,300 seats when you have had several viral songs is pretty expected imo, like it was obviously clever on their part to book smaller venues to ensure they would sell-out and that was good planning, but I'm also not going to be "AMAZED" just because the words "sold out" were slapped on the poster – they probably could have gone with bigger venues tbh but decided to be safe and guarantee sell outs so they could promote it as such, which is a good move and is great for the buzz. But ultimately these are all marketing strategies, if she had picked venues with 5000 seats and hadn't sold out people would have made fun of her even though she would've technically sold more tickets.

If you want to see her you can always get a ticket to see Lana Del Rey at Wembley, Addison is the opening act and as a bonus you get a Lana concert too.

Well deserved.

Addison is genuinely such a great pop record. Is it the most polished songwriting? No. But it feels authentic to her.

The production felt top notch. And her vocals aren't bad at all. If Selena Gomez can have a successful music career (not a dig btw), so can Addison if she puts her mind to it.

She just needs to continue to develop her curating (i.e. finding the right sounds, inspirations, producers etc), vocal, and songwriting skills--hopefully she's learning from Luka and Elvira. While I trust she was involved in the songwriting, I have an inkling she leans very heavily on the duo.

Addison seriously has potential. She just needs to keep putting in the work.
