PartySick 158,040 Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM She's not, MJ is She's my second favorite 'cause Swine was the first time I felt seen by an artist other than MJ and when she's not busy riding in Teslas or ignoring the general state of the world she's actually a badass, a great performer, a genuine musician, and a sweet person 💅Too cute to be this overworked and underf*cked💅
TheFame Monster 8,915 Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:03 AM (edited) I was initially drawn to her because of how fearless she is and at the same time open about her struggles and truth. That still holds today. I don't know if I'd be here today or even 10 years ago without her tbh Edited yesterday at 02:03 AM by TheFame Monster
NUTELLA 7,741 Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Her music was hypnotic- enjoying it was involuntary. Then she changed my life for the better!
weed 73,496 Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM I was a little gay boy, I bought COADF as the first CD I ever bought with my own money, I was naturally attracted to iconic powerful women. I loved VH1 Video Countdown, watched it every weekend for years and years. I became obsessed with Gwen Stefani from the No Doubt "It's My Life" music video, loved Gwen for years, until Poker Face came out and my sister introduced me and I was hooked forever. Gwen faded, Gaga only grew. As time went on my love only increased she is a beautiful, smart, powerful, charitable, unique, outspoken, artistic, messy, ambitious icon
Zombiecat 16,480 Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM (edited) she became my fave randomly i was in a non stan but kind of stan for the spice girls reunion tour stage design, then i switched channels and it was bbc3 playing gaga's glastonbury set and it was the paparazzi chorus and i legit got possesed by the devil the way that chorus shook me then i went to youtube and i believe the BR demo was out? i feel like a few of TFM songs had leaked because it was before the BR vid came out but i remember finding songs on youtube and being SHOOK i also remembered my friend in ict class had showed me the lovegame video and for some reason i paid DUST and she ended up turning christian as i became a stan and we stopped talking also this Edited yesterday at 02:24 AM by Zombiecat https://linktr.ee/jamalholt

Luzaleja 1,759 Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Share Posted yesterday at 02:48 AM Her music is great, I really, really enjoy listening to it. I can listen to only her music for days and not get bored But I became a LM because of her message of acceptance and love. I was struggling to accept my bisexuality at the time as a young woman in a deeply Catholic Latin American country That’s why it makes me sad that she’s not as outspoken anymore, but I still obsess over her music
Bobina 2,029 Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:37 AM Yup. She and Florence are the only ones who've ever gotten my home body a** to go to a concert (several). They're literally the only ones I think are worth the stress of going. I really feel like Gaga is my ride or die pop girlie. I'ma be an old lady still hoping she'll perform or put out another album. Anderson123 38,054 Posted yesterday at 03:45 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:45 AM (edited) Before Gaga I would listen to Marilyn Manson and Madonna most of the time. Getting to listen to Just Dance and Poker Face felt like finally something new and fresh was coming. I waited til the first edition of The Fame came out and bought it, listened to Lovegame and I just knew she was here to stay and would be listening to her for years. She has kept it interesting with every release, I love how passionate she is about all of them, from just a perfume promo to Born This Way being so extra and til this day with Mayhem it feels like there's that Gaga spark back again. And not only is she a great artist, you can tell she's a good person and what she stands for. In a way she reminds me of a female Marilyn Manson and it's probably why I enjoyed her music, visuals and interviews so much back then and right now I still do. I don't know how she does it but DISEASE alone just feels like something I wanted her to do for almost a decade, I can't believe she finally went there with the sound. So in a way I really like that they've met and gotten to know and respect each other and can still see Manson's influence in her. LauraPalmer 667 Posted yesterday at 03:53 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:53 AM i was in a very dark place when i discovered her music, and she just is such a light, as an artist and a person. i’ve always felt different from other people and out of place my whole life. i guess it might sound corny or like “duh”, but her music led me to realize that i can really do whatever i want and be whoever i want to be. she’s completely fearless. i’m a woman, i insist, it’s my life ♀
MACATL 1,397 Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Share Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM She is the best example of an artist having the “X factor.” Something in her spirit shines so bright, and that’s what first made me sit up and give her all my attention. Almost like a Dolly Parton-like magic.
