gumzy3000 7,203
To each their own honestly. Yah, I find it weird when someone is recording everything but whatever, it doesn’t affect me. I’m going to take my 2 videos and 2 photos for social media haters and then I’m going to put my phone away and enjoy the show. trolly troll troll
princedeeblebleble 1,443
I'm mixed on it cause if i wanted I can just tuck my phone away which i generally do, minus the intro and when a fave song comes up.. but at the same time i like to record the unique speaches or moments that don't happen at every show or get deleted from the tour films :p
HeAteMyh3art 420
Oh please please please do so, it could become more widespread and concert etiquette could actually get changed for the better the debra
Awrah999 4,280
I get her point and agree to some extent, but having waited 5 hours in 110 degree heat for Gaga’s first Coachella weekend opening sequence and getting that absolutely mindblowing moment on my phone, in a sea of little monsters, as the first time ever that was performed will be a memory I will cherish forever and I have no regrets Edited Friday at 07:14 AM by Awrah999
chathonnete 711
Every artists should You can't truly ban phones of course, but it would limit people to taking one or two vids and not filming the whole show in front of you
Monstermilo 4,436
sorry but capturing the moment on a video is part of the experience. maybe ask them not to use it for a portion but banning phones seems excessive
bpmMonkey 5,522
Please please please, ban phones from the concerts. These little entitled dipsh!ts who think just because they bought a ticket gives them the right to block the view for any other person behind them, not dancing, not moving but recording half of the show for socials, eventho they only know two songs or three. If all the people who just buy tickets so they can post about going to a Gaga concert wouldn't be allowed to create content, little monsters and actual fans would have had a much easier and cheaper chance to get a ticket.
faysalaaa 4,317
Another thing is these big artists let people wait for them for hours because they are always late, so people will stay without a phone for over 5 hours, while having nothing to do inside Edited Friday at 10:38 AM by faysalaaa 1

I dont think it diminished my concert experience in any way. I look at the Chromatica ball as one of the best nights of my life. Im sorry others wanna be control freaks and get annoyed by phone usage but i dipped into my bill money buying those tickets, so id like to have mementos of it. No different than taking photos of the aquarium, or at baseball games. Capturing memories is fine. I will never again be at the Chromatica Ball with my Ex Mother in law having the time of my life at the age of 22. I think artists lose touch with their audience because its their job to perform and they do it several times a week but for the regular consumer that can be a once in a lifetime event. Thank you, it's a pleasure to rewatch it afterwards... I hope she lowers her price ticket if folks aren't allowed to keep a memory.
Reez 523
I love this. I wish it was illegal to use phones at every concert. These videos from the concerts don't make sense, who watches that afterwards?
djBuffoon 12,104
I would support all live shows (theatre and concerts) doing this.
