The rule prevented artists in many categories from getting nominations
it could be also Gracie song that prevented Taylor from getting nom.

it wouldn't change anything since no one can win Post Malone, he holds the record for the most nominations without a win.

At least this happened after DWAS. Had Fortnight been nominated in Pop Duo Last Year the competition would’ve been harder.

This reminds me of the 2010 VMAs when both Bad Romance and Telephone was nominated for Video of the Year. Not only did it NOT split the votes, Bad Romance won VOTY and Born This Way was announced

That's obviously because the Academy members are racist and, as we all know, Post Malone is black 

On that note, Beyoncé is the artist with the most GRAMMY wins ever, with 35, and she barely writes and/produces her on music. So people have to chill, and stop acting as if the world revolved around her
