It's kinda wild to think that, as far as Israel/Gaza goes, the US really was holding out two hands.

One hand to the Palestinian people to build their buildings and the other to Israel's government to drop bombs on those buildings.

What a deeply unserious nation we are

No no, it's only one hand that rises up to give a veto every time the world agrees to a ceasefire

They're allies so it may actually happen in case the US or one of the major countries backs Israel militarily and directly.

Unlikely, they've increasingly abandoned their middle eastern sphere for their operations in Africa - where they have done far better.
Plus they've redeployed a significant part of their active military resources to Putin's primary goal in Ukraine.
Hell, it was their withdrawal of support in Syria to redeploy to Ukraine that ultimately led to Asaad's regime collapsing.

The middle east is increasingly less important to Russia's overall goals and with Russia now having a very useful inroad in the US, it seems content to leave the middle east to America so it can focus on it's goals in Europe/Africa/the Artic.

I mean both of Iran and Israel/US have their own interest in the Middle East, but I don't want things to escalate at all. While Israel needs to be taught a lesson to the stop being the bully of the Middle East, there have been multiple Palestinian areas in the West Bank that were affected by Iranian missiles and that's not good at all. It is one land after all and any escalation from Iran's side could literally affect Palestinians in a very bad way safety wise.

5 Ukrainian citizens died in Israel, I don't know the reasons why they were in Israel, but most likely they were an asylum seekers.

now many cities and neighborhoods in Israel looks just like Gaza, a total devastation, but they will get more sympathy in the media and around the world than Gaza will ever get.

What's the death toll looking like?

Any chance this'll spark some empathy in some of Israel's worst people? (Long shot 'cause it wouldn't happen here lmao)

Will Netanyahu get a "omg worst leader ever, look what he's done" from the public or a "omg how scary, we must rally behind our leadership to survive this"?

I posted above the toll so far.

The majority doesn't want the war, we call it "the saving Netanyahu war" because he does it to postponed his trial and to eventually, cancel the elections.

the timing was very very calculated, when everything closes down to him, he starts a war, it's a pattern.

He lost every piece of his popularity.

The problem is that he still has a lot of fans, MAGA like, that crowned him as the king of Israel, no joke, they love him more than they love their own children. like once a guy said "I would kill my son for him"

Is it true that shelters are only exclusive to Jewish people and that people of Palestinian/Arab origin aren't allowed or no shelters are built in their areas?

Wow. Seems "small" compared to the number of lives Israel itself has taken but I know, just like those hostages, they'll be playing the violin across media for these people.

Not that their deaths shouldn't be mourned, it just sucks to know they'll be exploited for Israel's "poor me, I'm such a victim" schtick
