I really do not like the energy of making an album and then scrapping it because it’s “not it for the summer” (aka the singles flopped)

Like if you’re making things true to your vision you would NOT treat your music that way. Or maybe it’s a label decision and she’s being forced to do it who knows.

agreed it's strange esp. since she fought to release the demo version of still bad. maybe it underperformed so the label asked her to shelve the entire album ?

Label, her, or both, either way it sucks. Look at Katy Perry. She has gotten SO much hate yet she and her label have still worked hard to promote 143. Lady Gaga herself said it best that you have to own your work. If it was just Lizzos label, then they are bad too for it. I won't leave them out of the mix.
