The football fans will not be happy with the half time show I can guarantee it. 

They cause chaos whenever other football tournaments have had opening shows which dont even interrupt the flow of play.

Maybe she is a good live performer but her songs are boring. And as far as I know at least here in the Netherlands she is not big at all

FYI The Club World Cup is kind of irrelevant for football fans, as it was set up as a money making exercise by FIFA during the months where most clubs are on a break. Most major teams will use their reserve players and they'll treat it as a pre season tournament, therefore having a half-time show is their way of drumming up interest in something that, well, most fans don't care about and wish didnt even exist (due to the unnecessary extra games players ars expected to play in).

Also football fans don't care about these type of performances, much the less by someone like Doja Cat who has 0 straight fans, or popular songs among straight men . This cup is not like the superbowl, that's a "family" event, and traditionally women and children watch it too. 

This is ~only~ watched by sweaty, greasy straight guys, they most likely won't even know who she is .
