Well she's done both: performed from the tour stage and pre-recorded

I hope it's pre-recorded 'cause I don't want tour spoilers

Yeah and the fact that she has nothing on September 5th, is a perfect time to pre-record at UBS Arena.

Looks like Lady Gaga will get the Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV VMAs! Gaga's performance is in consideration, and she will record it 2 days before the VMAs 2025 at UBS Arena with crowd and then her acceptance speech will be live from her concert at Madison Square Garden. 

 

OMG! IT'S BEEN LONG OVERDUE THE VIDEO VANGUARD FOR OUR MOTHER MONSTER!

Idk about that... I'd like Gaga to receive that award when she's actually attending the event. It's a really special award and we've been waiting for years to happen, she should be performing live
