It's all about power and control. I mean, I do think some Republican politicians seriously believe all that misinformation, but a good chunk of them probably know it's fake news and still spread it anyway because they're more concerned with keeping their positions and don't want to risk Trump turning on them.

This right here. There are definitely morons in the party like Boebert who believe all the propaganda, but I firmly believe the people pulling the strings in the Republican Party know it's bullsh*t but are using it to their advantage. 

It's so upsetting because we made so much progress during the Obama years, and if we ever get out from under the thumb of MAGA, it's going to take DECADES to undo all the damage that Trump and his cronies have done. We're moving backwards at breakneck speed.

If you're American please get out and VOTE for the midterms. It's really the only thing left that can possibly save the country from this nightmare. If Democrats get back in power, we can impeach and remove him. We need the senate AND the house.

Huh? You think the rest of the world will crumble if the USA does? I dont know about you but we barely import anything from the U.S. Most of our imports come from our neighboring Asian countries. If U.S.A. will go down, the rest of the world will still be here and adapt.

Hello, have you heard how the first two world wars started? How about the global recessions? Depressions? They all started with the downfall or radicalization of at least one global superpower. It's very naive to think that you live in an indestructible bubble--you don't. Your country doesn't, either. If the US suddenly fires their nukes, you think your country, wherever you are, wouldn't be affected? Seriously?

Hi, thats not what you were saying initially or even the topic of the conversation. No one even mentioned nukes, except now. And your precious U.S.A. isnt the only one with military weapons of mass destruction.

Lots of Asian countries also have nukes. I dont live in a bubble, but you certainly think that your country's demise would end the whole world I'm just saying its not true. The world does not revolve around the U.S.A. Based on the way you've been voting and how your economy is crashing, I doubt you have been "a global superpower" for a while, incapable of ending Russia V Ukraine war and incapable of ending Israel V Palestine war.

Your own presidential spokesperson said planes are crashing because of DEI, trying to take Canada, trying to claim ownership of Greenland, the insane tariffs on asian countries like China.
