In fact I feel like Billie Eilish is the last major female megastar for the time being. 

 

I dont see any of these new names in the last 5 years matching the A list celeb Powerhouses that came out from 2007 to 2012. That was truly a golden era pumping out mega star after mega star and at the moment the industry is very quiet on that front it seems

Agree...there's a ton of "one hit wonders" lately and some who just dont give off a genuine artistic vibe and more of a "im seeking fame" vibe. 

I dont see Olivia Rodrigo, Ava Max, or even Chapell Roan as the NEXT big superstar. 

Yes, Billie may be the most popular of the bunch but damn is her music boring with all that whispering. Some of the production is interesting and upbeat but not even her seems to get that same megapopstar vibe.

Not only were the artists of 20 years ago more interesting but their music matched it and it was a new age of pop...a true Renaissance where everyone was making bops, had amazing visuals, had interesting performances, and kept you engaged. 

Now with Tik Tok...everyone feels they're a star and it's diluted the allure so much that now everyone just appears narcissistic...

I will slightly disagree on the Billie music being boring. I think its very unique and innovative and doesnt follow any trends and I personally like a lot of it.

Don't like her music (with the exception of red wine supernova) or aesthetics/visual. But completely lost interest in her after her "both sides" arguments. Her vibe just feels off to me because of all the comments she's made in interviews.

A lot of people in the entertainment industry are most likely in the spectrum, and not all of them come across as rude or unlikeable as Chappell, I think it's just her TBH, not her diagnosis . But peoples personality is not a valid reason to hate on someone. Its fine if people dont get her personality, and she ends up being not popular, but hating on her for her personality is weird. So instead of telling Chappell to hide her personality, we should tell people to stop hating on others based on their personality.
