They’re just throwing her under the bus because it’s the best way to deflect from their own failures, which tbh is really gross but it’s Katy Perry so I’ll smile and giggle lol

Not a big KP fan but I saw her show while I was in Vegas for work because I had a free night and I (surprisingly) had a really good time! It was a solid show.
 

That said, I only paid $27 for my ticket so I won’t be surprised if they did lose a lot of money on it

Her shows and concerts look fun tbh. Id go to a Katy Perry concert over a bland Taylor Swift concert any day tbh

How is that even possible? Reading the article, the main bit I took out of it is that Katy was paid too much per show due to the bidding war between Caesar and Resort World. Which if it's true is almost $900k per night. Then this article makes sense since the first 7-ish dates made ~$7M. So that would mean measly profits for Resorts World.

But PLAY's revenue doesn't seem that far off than Enigma's which started a few years earlier, so surely Resorts World could have projected Katy would make around $1M on average per show and not accepted giving her nearly all of that per date in the first place. What were they thinking?
