Is Gaga's appearance in Wednesday Season 2 a cameo or an actual role throughout?

I imagine a small role given the time it took her to film it. Perhaps a cameo as Ophelia as another user said or perhaps as a musician at a Ball/Prom at the school.

Since they wanted her for a bigger role originally, I’m gonna guess she’s Ophelia and they’ll ask her to do a bigger part of they do another season.

I had heard this before too somewhere, it would make sense perhaps they have a prom/ball episode and she turns up as a musical performer. Then has a few scenes but only for the one episode. 
 

Then if they make a S3 she could always comes back since they offered her a bigger role originally. Perhaps as Ophelia she was supposed to appear throughout the season

I’ve always wanted her to be more like Joan Cusack acting wise so this would be everything. But I feel like that’s more a character who needs a setup amd a series or 2 to get into but not related to Wednesday

I feel like it will be a somewhat small role or a larger cameo because when jenna ortega and the cast talk about her they say that they had a really great time recording with her, which to me sounds like a bigger role because if it was a cameo would they even really see her? or like be recording that much with her?

Probably a quest star role for one episode, they shot it in one day so it's either that or a very tiny role. Or a musical cameo.
