Katy Perry's show at Denver's Ball Arena rescheduled to July 10

Last month, Kylie and Rita had to cancel their show at the same venue for the same reason

I'm sorry but out of all the possible places, cities and venues in the USA, WHY do it at a venue that has been booked for months? Is this normal in the states?

Ikr how do they even book a game the same day they Booked a concert? I'm calling the manager

Why can’t they schedule these games at the opponent teams arena or even the next date?

Oklahomas Paycom Center is free on Thursday  then has a show on Friday  and will host the next game on Sunday. Ball arena has nothing scheduled aside from Katy on Thursday May 15th until May 27th. 

 

I hope Kylie and Katy’s promoters have some contract in place that favors them.

They don't. They booked shows on playoff weekends in an arena venue owned by the resident sports team, for them to have to cancel means the contracts explicitly give the venue's team priority. 

It's both the fault of the venue for selling the relevant dates and on the touring promoter for being prepared to take the risk.

My Kylie show was canceled and we bought Katy tickets as the replacement and now this is getting cancelled?  

No wonder the pop girls skip this flop city/state

As a guy who lives in Denver and had tickets to both shows, I'm kind of pissed. The nuggets need to lose and end their season already. This is becoming ridiculous.
