Katy (Left Shark) just dropped “Woman’s World Tanked” merch… and yes, it’s real. A tank top. That literally says that. The Left Shark energy is BACK. It’s like she’s completely leaning into the flop and making it funny, which honestly? Queen behavior. “Woman’s World” didn’t exactly make waves (no pun intended), and instead of ignoring the lukewarm reception, she’s embracing the chaos with full-on meme merch. It’s giving 2015 Tumblr self-deprecating pop star era in the best way possible. Also—Tanked is printed on the merch. If you know, you KNOW. It’s almost like she’s reviving that quirky, IDGAF era that made people fall in love with her in the first place. And whether or not you liked the song, you’ve got to respect the self-awareness. Most pop stars would just pretend the song never dropped and move on. The “Ur So Gay” singer said: “nope, we’re printing this moment on a tank and cashing in”. Anyway, thoughts? Is this the comeback of campy, internet-era Katy? Would you wear it ironically or unironically? I kind of want it just for the absurdity.
