Girl, this is the May 1st show. It doesn't look cute... p9gwl8.jpg

It's a mixture of MANY factors...

1) The album wasn't as popular as Renaissance

2) The economy has many skipping theme parks, vacations, concerts, etc.

3) With several major artists touring, including Gaga, if people have only 1 artist to splurge on...maybe Bey isn't their first pick

During the Renaissance Tour SoFi Stadium had a capacity of nearly 52000 people and the three shows were sold out. By looking at the dates it seems like they planned even more shows in some cities...

What I'm really curious about is the fourth Atlanta show and the two Vegas ones. It looks like they just put a third of the upper sections in Las Vegas on sale. And there are still some blocks with only a few tickets sold on ticketmaster...

Do people actually listen to Beyoncé or do they just talk about how great she is?

She sold almost 3 millions tickets on the RENAISSANCE Tour, 100% sold out.

And while the COWBOY CARTER American dates are not sold out yet (but are absolutely doing fine despite TMZ of all sources wants to push), she sold out immediately 3 Stade de France in Paris. That's 75 to 90 000 people (depending on the stage) each night.

So yes, people talk about how great she is because they SAW how great she is.

idk why tickets are not selling but I would assume once the tour starts people will see it online / hear reviews and want to go

That's odd. I googled the concert capacity of the stadium but I guess they don't use the full 70.000 spots? Cause on the map it doesn't look like 90% sold.

I meant the tour itself! Idk what percentage this particular show is at. The tour in general is at like 90-something percent sold

idk why we're speculating when it's as simple as she literally JUST toured. there isn't demand for an artist charging as much as she does that's WHY these artists take breaks. plus, the us is nearing a recession lmao people who went to renaissance (like myself) are not exactly saying omg NOW is the time to blow a few hundred dollars on a concert no matter how great im sure it'll be.

But people said the same of renaissance and as the tour went along it got momentum and became a must-attend event. We'll see!

I was kinda joking, she deserves her success

I’m going next Wednesday. If I could go tonight I would!

I personally didn’t care too much for this album. It’s not my favorite genre of music but I did enjoy a few of the songs.  Sometimes hearing them live can really make you appreciate the material.

I LOVED Renaissance! I went to that tour twice.

I think the initial show will have some great moments and hype people up to wanna go to future shows. Maybe only half or 1/3rd of the album is performed and the rest will be beloved songs. Maybe it’ll be like JLo’s tour and rebrand to sell tickets.

The Cowboy Carter Las Vegas dates are pretty bad. I would go but that’s Mayhem week for me so I really can’t.

Maybe she should have done one stadium per city. Or do arenas just for this tour.

Honestly the map with the tickets left and resales doesn't look very very cute. I love Beyoncé but the demand is not what they expected clearly. This plus all the tickets prices that were lowered the last few days. She's kinda struggling for her standards

literally 90% of these are resales ... people got greedy and bought tickets hoping to make a buck + dynamic pricing being way more agressive + more dates being added due to the inflated demand due to the scalpers leads to everyone reselling at a discount. the remaining seats that are not resale tickets are much, much lower than that as you can see (blue only).

Pinks count as sold cuz they are resales.

So only the blue are unsold in any capacity.

Not that playing to empty seats is a good luck sold or unsold.

Its an interesting 1. She's very much relying on positive press from show 1 tonight to ignite further sales, but equally depending on how luck is feeling the media focus tomorrow may be clips of Beyonce performing to obvious empty patches which could harm sales.

i'm sure that won't be an issue, strategically they will find ways to fill those seats. there are going to be people on-site trying to buy cheap tickets last minute. if they want the room full, they can fill it in no time for sure.

a few hundred dollars

I just looked at the SoFi stadium show for tonight and they have lower bowl tickets at nearly $600 face value right next to resale tickets that are $40 :billie:

At least we can take joy in the fact that these scalpers are taking several hundred dollars worth of losses per ticket :vegas:

But yeah, these prices are ridiculous. And it's not only a Beyoncé thing...Gaga :triggered:

Billionaires are a cancer. Even the ones you like.
