Lucas 25,697 Posted yesterday at 06:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:30 PM (edited) I don't know if that's true but I read online that she's selling even less tickets than Katy Pery That's so ****ing crazy if true. I guess people are not very interested to see a tour for this specific album. The fact that THIS album won AOTY over her other albums is crazy Edited yesterday at 06:31 PM by Lucas 3

The fact that THIS album won AOTY over her other albums is crazy People are being more selective with what concerts to attend right now because nobody can afford how outrageous ticket prices are in this current climate and would rather not spend money on an artist who just recently toured anyway and is marketing a "country" album. Cowboy Carter is aging pretty poorly in comparison to some of her other work in my opinion. She should have won for Renaissance but it feels like they gave it to her for CC to finally silence all the discourse every time she didn't win. I cant believe people think renaissance was a really good album, 16 carriages & II most wanted over everything on reimbursement

Cowboy Carter is really a US-centric album. It's the first miss from Beyoncé for me since B'day. Hell, the only albums I'd put below CC in a ranking would be her first two. Everything else is just miles better. 1
South Blonde 5,926
Album of the year but people just wanna talk about it and not listen to it Don't you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?
lasagna 2,704
as someone who went to renaissance and is going to cowboy carter too (for an extortionate price mind you) i'll certainly not forget the greed of the cowboy carter tour the next time she decides to tour. doing mini residencies with prices for GA starting at 300-500 per ticket depending on your location is unhinged. renaissance is my all time favourite album but cowboy carter just hasnt held up as well as pretty much all her other albums, so its not really a surprise people arent that interested in seeing it live. i think if she had done a tour in more varied cities with a lower ticket price it wouldve resolved all the issue shes having Edited 23 hours ago by lasagna
