I don’t pay enough attention to Katy to be a hater but even I am gagged by how bad this is…Never particularly disliked her beyond just not understanding how someone could like her music so much to be a serious stan, and obviously finding the Dr. Luke scenario irredeemable. But this is bad lol. A lot of it on the surface level seems to be ripped from Enigma’s playbook as well, (but correct me if I’m wrong — that’s just my impression from a tertiary view), and if she wanted to copy literally any Gaga tour concept you’d think someone on her team would be aware enough to realize that may be the one least worthy of imitation 😭

This is so unserious . I have actually watched a bunch of clips from the show, I was curious because of all the negative discourse about her, and it looks fine . 

She's performing as she always has, she's never been a great singer or dancer, if anything she improved her act, with higher production value, and the string acrobatics, which are probably the most physically demanding thing she ever did onstage. There is a segment of the show where she flies over a butterfly, and it looks great. 

And it was a soldout show too, in every clip I watched, the audience was singing every song at the top of their lungs . I love drama, and trolling, but this is stupid, they're just trying to ARTPOP her at this point, lol. 

It's absolutely ok to criticize a public figure when it's called for, like the spaceship thing. But this is dumb, her tour is doing great, and the show is the same as always, but slightly improved. Let Mother Astronaut be, leave her alone

i HATE (hate hate hate double hate loathe enterely ) katy perry but this show is not as awful as people are tying to make it seem. it has cringy and ugly stuff just like any regular katy perry show, but it's not that awful (i think enigma might've been worse)

also bullying is not the word you are looking for. bullying is when people in power isolate someone with less power. she's a millionaire with a huge fanbase.

she might be receiving harsh critics but she deserves it for the decisions she has been making and the things she's been saying throughout her carreer

And let’s be honest… The only reason why Enigma got so much hate was from Non-US fans who wanted to attend the concert but largely didn’t get the chance to because it was a Vegas residency. A huge part of her fanbase is not from the US so their voices were loud but the impact was minimal. Almost everyone that actually went to the show in person loved it

It wasn’t until now that Katy fans are trying to turn this around on Gaga that I’ve become aware of the “Enigma backlash”  

There’s a video going around on Twitter of Gaga acting up and licking a middle finger  But that’s far from being the viral mess that Katy is right now.

Funny, because this is the only time I’ve commented on Katy. I’m not bullying. 
 

STOP generalizing legitimate criticisms with whatever catty crap you see on here or Twitter. She showed her cards and it’s not good. I never commented on her looks, dancing, etc. Only the fact that she chooses to work rapists and Nazis. That is a legitimate concern regarding my choice of listening to her going forward as a consumer. 

Society has regressed their memories of true oppressors to the point where they seek shelter behind those oppressors that will never authentically say thank you for sticking up for them.

The article says that "some fans" have criticized her show.  I think the criticism may be blown up way out of proportion.  I'm not buying that the show is bad, and would have to see it for myself.  I hope a video of the entire show is made, not just selected clips that people use to prove their points.
