Zombieboy should have ended with „Goodbye, I'll see you in my dreams“

As the Titel says, I think Zombieboy should have ended with „Goodbye, I'll see you in my dreams“

I know that the song would have been quite short then with only 2:34 min but the end would have been so Iconic lyrically and unexpected in terms of progression of the song.

You‘d expect the chorus or something after the built up but you get nothing.

For me that would add a big replay factor just to satisfy my craving for the climax. 

The part that follows is repetitive and not that good.

The bridge is my least favorite part of the song. It's sung in a way that it reminds me of a school play. I think it should've been spoken word or whispered and then the "you're better off a fantasy " line could be the way it already is.

You can cut your version to that. Honestly, it might be a killer transition into LoveDrug or it'd sound great worked into a remix as the hook  

But personally, I like that she wasn't afraid to let the songs stick around on Mayhem. One of my biggest criticisms of Chromatica was that every song felt like it JUST got started and she's already rushing to the end  

All the outros and interesting twists Mayhem's tracks take are peak
