Just stop.  The movie should never be remade.  Honestly the first movie wasn’t even that great.  What made it memorable was the soundtrack.  That’s all.  No one will ever match the vocal brilliance of Whitney (THE VERY LEAST of all Taylor Swift) so why not just let it be.  And why on earth would KK be attached in any way?

I have to agree.

The original film was ass (despite what some people say, Whitney & Costner had no chemistry & both of their performances- & haircuts- were awful).

But I think the story idea is juicy, if they can get the other elements right this time.

I'm not a Taylor hater but she's not a very good actress, neither a great soulful vocalist to get the role after Whitney. 

Of course it would be a huge commercial success... We know that Swifties would turn it into a success, but this wouldn't be  qualitative. They're defo trying to push Taylor as an actress, and it got a lot of traction when ppl said that Taylor would play in Wolverine, Deadpool movie.... But the skills aren't here. 

Everyone kept a sweet, tender memory of Whitney's performance in Bodyguard. Bodyguard is about a musician story and we know that these kinds of meta movies are very good for a musician's image. The amount of ppl who genuinely see Gaga as Ally Maine... So put Taylor in a musician movie and it will boost even more her image and make a lot of profits. 

I'm totally against it cause Taylor have been too much overexposed lately, like it or hate it, her music manage to have a strong storytelling. But pushing her as an actress even if she has no skills in this domain would be very annoying. 

...For Kim... Are they for real ? This girl destroyed Marylin Monroe's dress, I don't want to see her corrupt this iconic role, she's not even a singer.

This movie is so bad, it doesn't need a remake. The 90's version is the best it can be. Whitneys music saved that movie.
