that's just me sharing how ecommerce platforms are approaching flexibility. i wasn't advocating for a refund, nor did i know about what you just said now.

Well no. That's not how business done.
 

When you promised something with sizes, you need to deliver that promise, free gift or not. Otherwise they can always offer something else like a pin or other things that's one sized.  It is giving unprofessional, especially for someone of Yoncé caliber. IDC how you are going to twist this so it looks OK, it isn't, period.

my point was more to all the people who were outraged the person was not being given a refund/order cancellation, since again, since it's a FREE GIFT, there is no refund to issue...
