I don't see anything wrong with this? He/she/They are getting a limited Tee instead, and I guess they know how much ppl want the merch, so they would rather give them something than nothing.

What would've been better tho would be to give back the refund + the Tee in another size. But I understand that they can't do this for everyone. It's just a standard Marketing move.

I mean the t-shirt is quite literally useless to them if it's much too small for them. They might as well send them a t-shirt for a completely different artist. Either way they won't be wearing it.
