How many ppl actually do? Its hard to tell because of algorithm bias but i feel i only ever see negativity on her for the most part

Yeah she's not selling out stadiums but I mean she still has this level of ironic support from fans and gets treated like a taste maker and cultural scholar, WHICH SHE COULD HAVE BEEN!!! 

But the brain worms are far too deep now and her addiction to posting means she'll never stop projecting her insecurity on to others for attention, even if it means being offensive towards groups she clearly has an affinity for and relies on for income.

She just frustrates me so much because I truly believe she is a once in a generation talent and being insane is part of that (lol) but she's too far down the "I'm just trolling... oops no I am actually a bigot now bc it pays better" rabbit hole that so many right wing weirdos have fallen down before her

I'm confused as to what conversation we're having here lol. I wasn't trying to argue about anything, I was saying that people are able to look the other way when it comes to AB saying whack sh*t because she makes good music. I was just trying to say that people's convictions can be paper thin when the art is good, like if Katy's album had sounded good then Dr Luke would have been a footnote - kinda like he was for Doja with Say So 

I guess I was being hyperbolic and I didn't literally mean that everyone is falling over themselves to support AB, I mean more broadly that she is given grace online from people who generally disagree with her because she is inherently cool and talented. I wasn't really trying to say that she has a huge following who agrees with her on everything, it's more that she's gained cult status where it's less controversial to like her despite the homophobia, etc. because she's still got the it factor

I'm sure if you asked someone who bought tickets to see her if they agreed with various weird stuff she's said about gay men and trans people they'd say no, but they still bought a ticket and gassed her up on twitter when she said she liked Disease lol. I just wish we'd all ignore her until she went to therapy lol
