LoLaA: First listen I was meh—but after a few listens, I love it. Watershed: I think it could’ve had more potential. Pandacadabra: Very rock, and I vibe with it completely. Lyrically, it shows Gaga’s self-awareness and gives insight into the darker side of fame. Poltergeist: I like it, but it was also a bit of a letdown. Verses are great, but the chorus is missing something. “I've become a notorious being” is an epic lyric and closer though! Melodean: Not usually a fan of this type of music, but this song slapsss. Elusive Chanteuse: THIS is Mayhem!!!! Haldy: The best song in Lady Gaga's catalogue. Amazing lyricism, vocals, and production—she uses every strength to deliver this cynical, angry, spite-filled monster of a song. I hear Shirley Manson, I hear Nine Inch Nails, I hear perfection. Bobina: I could listen to a whole album in this sound. BeyonkaAte: Hard rock banger!! Mosh pit realness. The Fame Monster: Perfect Celebrity. Perfect single. Raikou: This song is incredible. Gaga rightfully hits back at critics and fans alike. Huttont: Everything I wanted from the album—and what I expected. I’m not upset the rest didn’t follow this sound, but I marked one point off because the snippet wasn’t used throughout the song. NotNightwing: Most impressive vocals and some of the best production on the album. Combined with a killer concept—feels like Highway Unicorn’s older, cooler sister. Ophelia: 10s across the board. This grungy route is completely new for Gaga and she absolutely rocks it. Lyrics are very Hole/Garbage. That breakdown?! Incredible. PC at #3 is tea, I've been saying since the first day that PC will become a fan favorite, it seems that this ranking confirms that, it's her most quotable song EVER imo, so much to unpack. I also think fans connect with this song on a personal level, gaga does a fascinating self reflection on her fame/path, and we all saw that path, so we feel connected to it She IS the Perfect Celebrity A bit surprised by shadow of a men at 2# but slay, wbk it would be a favorite since the start though, and my main pick for next single And Abra is her 2020's bad romance nobody will be surprised by the #1.
