I do love when people get creative linking human experience and factual science. Like, I've adopted the romantic view of string theory 'cause I think it's a pretty thought  

String theory at it's simplest is the assertion that every thing with mass is the result of vibration on the quantum level, like strings vibrating that create quarks which build subatomic particles/atoms/molecules/all matter

So reality is like a "song" played on those "strings", like reality is a melody being plucked out of an omnipresent guitar  

Or you know, just mention the dude who helps you find the missing side of a triangle and talk about your star sign, that works too

it reminds me of a time i was working with someone in dominos who was studying astronomy and i told my mum "yeah he's really smart he's studying astrology master degree" by accident and was confused why her response was "oh that's odd"
