They may be setting everything except for the actual stage which will be added the latest? I don't know how to explain it but it makes sense in my mind

Yeah but it makes sense tho. The set up should be similar to those happening in big festivals and they take time to be built... I mean they have to install several huge screens through out the beach for all the people attending right?

I think it will be different from Coachella’s. And according to Bonus Track, the stage will be different from Madonna’s. It was designed especially for Lady Gaga, with a total area of 1,260 square meters and a huge LED panel in the background.

I assumed the same, thinking they would have two replicas. One setting up in Coachella and another one in Mexico at the same time. Then while she’s in Mexico, they move the Coachella set to Copacabana. And once in Copacabana, they move the Mexico set to Singapore.  

They could also just be preparing the land for the stage to get a head-start, but the actual set wont arrive until later. 

But local media has been saying the Copacabana show will be extra special so maybe we will see differences

So many questions... I guess even your last point makes sense too since Rio's government is paying all the costs (I assume)

Yes, probably they have just started shipping the various parts and this is the first batch of screens and other components. Or the stage is the size of a building lol

It makes sense for them starting to construct it now. It’s logistical more challenging on a beach since you don’t have the even ground levels as in a stadium or inland area in general. Also I remember Madonna having like a whole bridge from her hotel to the stage, I wonder if Gaga gets one as well.
