Idk if it’s the majority, I’d hope it’d be - but I think that’s a word pretty much most queer people of any gender can say - so long as it’s a word that’s been used against you. Slurs can be reclaimed if they’ve actually affected you. 100% all the queer women in my life have been called the d slur AND the f slur.

I love how she meant it so earnestly and so honestly and Matteo is gagged because he just got Gayle King to say f*g on tv in 2025. And the 2 straight guys are gagged because they’re like omg we’re gonna get cancelled.

I don’t see the problem, I’ve seen many gay men call gay women d words, like a LOT of them. When you’re queer (and by queer I mean straight up LGBT not straight and calling yourself queer just because you kissed a girl that one time or are NB but still heterosexual) you can say all the slurs imo. As long as they’re in a joke context and not laced with actual malicious intent.

I honestly have to look at each situation on a case-by-case basis. Not that anyone should go around freely shouting it, but in this instance, the context matters. She wasn’t being malicious and was only quoting his comedy.

Honestly to me it fully depends on the spirit in which it’s said, the context and the heart of the person saying it.  Samantha on Sex and the City said it, and it was f’ing hilarious.  I know she’s not real, but still.
