Hi guys, is there anybody going to the Lyon dates that knows the city and would be so kind to give me some advice?

I'm coming from Italy and I'm trying to figure out where it would be better to get a room (I see that the Arena is actually a bit far from the city centre of Lyon)

Hey! We booked a room in the center (1er arrondissement) its pretty easy to join the venue from there. It’s not a big city  anywhere will do

I have the same question: either stay close to the venue or in the city center. I understand that exiting the venue is always a bit tricky, transportation-wise, and I will be attending alone.

If you are anxious, taking an hotel around the venue is possible, there are quite a few options (kopster, kyriad ...).

There are also several transports (tramway T3 will take you to Part Dieu train station with lots of hotels nearby, T3 and T7 will take you to Vaulx en Velin where a subway connects to the city center). Tramways are always busy after a show, but that's the case in every city after a show I guess, nothing "extra special".

It is kinda far from the city center, you can't walk from Lyon to the venue, but nothing to be too stressed about  And if you're lost, Citymapper (app) is your best friend.

Did anyone receive their tickets. I have EE but the second half of the ticket is missing in the app so it literally looks like normal GC.

I have GC and VIP3. The GC one is one ticket, the VIP one is in two parts and everything is there. I downloaded the PDFS and will print them, no idea how it looks on the app (my friend got them for me).

Yeah I only see it in the PDF as well but the reason I asked is because it means I have to bring a piece of paper anyway. I would’ve like to avoid that. Would’ve been better if it was visible in the app.
