When @River trolled this fanbase and I posted an unrelated joke thread and some members jumped to absolutely wild assumptions then got mad at me for their assumptions and it devolved into me telling everyone to leave me tf alone and for months now people have been apologizing in private for being sh*tty :anveeroy:

My favorite memory (memories) have to be taking my mom to see her with Tony and the Kennedy Center and Radio City Music Hall... she is not the biggest fan of a lot of Gaga's theatrics but after seeing her with Tony was able to better appreciate her talent and understand why I loved her so much- strengthening our own relationship!

Blaring Starstruck as loud as possible back in The Fame days in my old busted Pontiac with no sound system…when all of a sudden two fellow LM’s in the car next to me were madly waving to get my attention and they started dancing to my music. It was a fun moment sharing love for Gaga with total strangers at a stoplight. Not sure if this is my favorite memory, but it does stand out as a good one.

My first cd was also The Fame Monster ❤️ Also the first cd I bought with my own money. Something about gaga just really caught my attention whenever and wherever I saw her stuff, so I had to buy the album. This brings so much memories 🥹 Remember listening to the album straight away in the car with my mom. She would hear the album blasting in my room pretty much every day since then. And so the obsession started. For years everyone around me asked if I still like her as much and said it would pass at some point, they don’t bother to ask anymore :huntyga:

Thank you for sharing. Reading that made me smile :kara:

NUTELLA

To this day, my favorite Little Monster memory is hearing the Bloody Mary instrumental in the Gagavision video & becoming so overwhelmed with excitement that I embarrassed myself in my high school computer lab lol

It sounds silly but that was one of the most joyful moments of my life

I have so many memories omg…

I vividly remember stealing The Fame CD at à party and getting harassed for weeks by the host at school, her parents even called mine :toofunny: At that party, I danced my first slow to Brown Eyes with that girl

The day she announced ARTPOP will never, ever be topped

I also remember the mess on GGD when she was “pregnant with LG6” but there was nothing in sight for months and months and just she wouldn’t stop posting the dumbest sh*t like she was threatened or something. One day she would post her Italian gravy that looked like sh*t, the next day she would tweet “happy birthday” to Drake when it wasn’t even the season of his birthday, then she would post “Ninja who are you” and then “local file DELETE” :deadbanana: what a time to be alive

Oh and that time GGD got invaded by sex bots out of nowhere, and there were pics of Gaga, Taylor S and Ed Sheeran doing weird p*rn and scat stuff all over the site :toofunny:

She changed my life in a way she might not even realize- I dropped out of chemical engineering to pursue art, which nearly gave my parents a heart attack. :toofunny:

I managed to reach my goal this year at the top of the industry after years of grinding, all because I clung onto the words from a random interview during BTW/ ARTPOP era. It was a special interview that I still remember.

Meeting friends at school early in the morning to buy tickets to see her (amongst other artists) at children in need live in Manchester.
Also seeing her there, … naughtily skipping lessons to escape to the city via train to see her.. and all the hype around her set… was phenomenal.. MTN, BTW, TEOG  🤌🏼

another cool moment was waking up one morning and watching her Oscar’s sound of music tribute with friends, - it felt like seeing all her talents which you knew she was capable of just come to life and shine so bright… plus staying up late waiting for the Super Bowl and watching it live… heart in my mouth the whole time given how high energy it was

In 2010, a little while before the vma's, I read on wikipedia that her new album was gonna be called Born This Way. So I posted this on a fan blog and people were against me posting this because no album title was confirmed yet and they thought I was making it up :laughga:

That sounds like us. :laughga:

i became a fan in 2011 after i heard BTW (the single). i was 12 years old when my mom took me to see her live in Central Park on Good Morning America for the album release. we live in NJ so we had to get up at the crack of dawn and get on a train at like 2am lol. i still can remember listening to BTW on my iPod on that train ride. it felt like the way it was meant to be listened to.

we were all the way in the back. i had a poor quality digital camera and a dream :traumatica: but i still remember two tall men in front of me who saw me on my tippy toes and asked me if i was able to see her. when i said not really, they asked my mom if it was okay to let me go in front of them and promised her they’d watch me, and asked if i wanted them to take a photo of her on my camera so they took some pics for me. i think about them often. :traumatica:

later that year, i was lucky enough to go to Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s in NYC. again, my mom took me. she bought me a spinny toy of Gaga in the “vessel”, a notebook, and stuffed “little monsters”.

when i look back on these memories, i get really emotional because i didn’t really realize at the time, but my mom didn’t really understand my obsession with Gaga. she didn’t get why i connected with her so deeply, and she was worried kids at school would think it was “weird”, but she tried to understand and support it to the best of her ability. and growing up, we didn’t always have much money, but my mom always tried to make me smile. every once in a while when she would go grocery shopping, she would bring home a magazine with Gaga on the cover and now that i’m an adult, i appreciate it even more because i know how hard she worked but all these things were worth it to her because they made me smile.

now i’m very emotional :traumatica: anyways if you’re still reading, my mom is an angel and so is Gaga and i will be a fan forever:pawsup:

Someone get this mother a crown, cuz she's a queen!

I believe it was during the ARTPOP era. She said something about discipline and talent. She mentioned discipline again in her Oscar speech so it’s hard to find the original interview.
