Tips and tricks to buy tickets

Hi monsters 

Are there any tips you would like to share with the inexperienced concert-goers when it comes to buying tickets? I will try to buy Golden tickets for Milan or, failing that, Barcelona. I could go to any of the four dates. My boyfriend will also be trying to buy at the same time. How far in advance should I access the site? I don't have much time to make the purchase? Should I “reload” the site in case of freezes? Would it be more strategic for each of us, my boyfriend and I, to each aim for a different date?

On the other hand, any recommendation regarding the location? Is it a “big” sector without differentiations? Or at the moment of buying tickets, should I make any other decision regarding which part of the sector to attend (in case it is divided)? In that case, do you have any particular recommendation?

Exactly same situation!

I'll try to get two tickets for me and my boyfriend but I've never been to Milan arena 

If someone has more info or suggestions please shaaaare

if you are able to join the presale there shouldn't be any issue booking whichever date you prefer, just refresh the page at the exact time they are meant to go on sale

with the location in the arena though i'm not sure how it works, but as long as you have the money to get golden circle i can't see why you'd have any issue? 

If you want to book multiple dates though then yeah it'd be better to have more than one of you try to book each at the time they go live

Definitely try your best to be at least 15 minutes early. As soon as ticket sales go live refresh the page. If there is a queue DO NOT LEAVE OR REFRESH or you will lose your place in line. Try and snag the tickets in your desired area as quickly as possible. Most ticket sites hold those tickets you choose for 10 minutes, so you have that time frame to secure your check out. Here are some things to be wary of: lagging, glitches, and disruptions. 
 

If you’re on the web, use Firefox or Chrome. They work best with ticket sites. Clear any cache you may have accumulated to avoid any issues with the browser. Ensure you have stable internet connection. 

you may need to have a buddy open their own browser for them to try and snag tickets too. If they do and you pay them to help you get the tickets, you can send them the money and they can transfer the tickets to your account with no additional charges.

You can only use one queue per date with one ticketmaster account nowadays. And idk how busy the presales will be. Big Time Rush sold out the Ziggodome with presales I think, so I am scared. I hope the high ticket prices scare people off

Remember that even if things sell out in the first 5 minutes, keep checking. A lot of times, some tickets become available again (probably people who couldn't check out and what not). You just gotta be patient. That's how I got eusexua tickets (RIP now that it's cancelled ) and Yeah Yeah Yeahs tickets.

Define in advance the sector you want to buy. Check out the arena map, look for photos of previous events held there to get a better idea of the space. You want golden circle but you need to have a plan b in case tickets sell out quickly and you have to choose another sector.

Also I highly recommend you to register in advance on the website where the tickets will be sold, so you can be redirected to the virtual queue right away. The queue is generated automatically and some factors can affect your position, such as: internet speed, browser cache and cookies and internet provider. So, make sure you have a good connection and, before logging into the website, clear your browser's cookies and cache. Clearing this data can fix loading or formatting issues, preventing the website from not updating at the exact moment sales open. After entering the queue, do not refresh the page, because it can throw you further down the queue! You and your boyfriend can use two devices each (laptop and phone) in case one of the screens freezes. 

Finally, have your credit card near you! If you have the option to save the credit card number on the website, do it. And make sure you have enough credit limit on your credit card to use. Good luck!
