REALITY 79,192 Posted March 12, 2025 Share Posted March 12, 2025 I feel like people are only saying DWAS doesn’t fit the album because they’re associating it with its run as a single prior to MAYHEM’s release. Thematically, it fits in well with the rest of the songs, especially after Blade of Grass. And sonically, it’s not like it really matters since the record’s musically diverse. She said herself that her mayhem ended with love, or the answer to her mayhem is love, something along those line. So yeah, solid review, except the DWAS part, it fits and it's good. I don't agree with him though, think Blade of Grass + DWAS are good to end the "mayhem", it's the calm after the storm, it fits nicely.
