So I have mentioned before how I thought the cracked CD cover art was kind of like how she took The Fame CD that has been damaged and old and trying to put it together again and bring it into the present. Which basically represents the music of this album sounding like that gaga with a dark twist lyrically that has been more recent gaga.

Well today I finally received my signed album and was looking at the cover art for the store exclusive and I feel like this cover represents Perfect Celebrity. The song seems to represent her struggles with fame and feeling like she has become a different version of herself to protect herself from fame. She even mentions a clone version of herself in the song. I thought seeing this cover now is interesting because it does seem like a clone of herself. She mentioned in the Apple Music interview that the working title for the album was Perfect Celebrity. I think it might have been the original concept before she decided to be less inhibited with each song and went with MAYHEM to encompass it all. The Target exclusive art is basically a mix of the clone and the broken pieces concept put together.
