Either way, it will result in a more entrenched oligarchy. As it is, Elon Musk has way too much power over republicans. This is the biggest argument to start dismantling monopolies and taxing billionaires a 90% rate above a certain threshold. The Democratic Party CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT be lenient like they were in 2009. That was one of Obama’s biggest mistakes that still haunts us today.
