Blood was there for our girl, when she was having a really hard time after her psychotic break. He spent time talking her through the obvious struggles she was dealing with for hours and hours. We should be more appreciative that he was willing to work through it and persevere and encourage Stefani to write the beautiful poetry she ended up gifting us.

Stop being so critical about the production. It was the most realest we were going to get at the time, and if BloodPop was in more creative control than Gaga at the time, then I'm ok with that, considering her mental capacity and how she has now mentioned she was in psychosis, I am glad she gave up some of the reins!

We should be thanking Bloodpop for being there for Gaga and helping to get her off the prison hell porch.

The same songs ya'll were living for just a couple years ago (911, Replay, Alice) are all being ripped apart in this same forum, because of the producer? Pick a side.

She used him and tossed him OUT because he messed good. She still stands by ARTPOP. But not a word for Chromatica. All the ideas for the tribes and promo and sounds etc just like ARTPOP died due poor execution and her not being in a good place. GaGa needs a great team and is showing this time.

Okay but you're making it look like bloodpop was part of her actual team when it was just a producer for that album... Idk, you're mingling concepts for me

I think only some of the things of the demos worked. Ultimately I'm very happy about the album we got. If anything the song's should have been longer. The only thing we lacked, was promo/visuals.

He slaughtered Free Woman. Great album with so much potential wasted. The whole Gaga edginess that makes Mayhem so great was castrated in Chromatica.

She literally just praised Chromatica the other day and said she found it to be an authentic dance album that she's proud of. She just wasn't at her best. She's consistently praised BloodPop and the other producers for their work on it and for essentially keeping her from totally falling apart by keeping things fun for her in the studio at a time when she was in a very deep depression.

It’s the assumption of many that boys noize was the solo producer of both of those demos. I’d argue the songs were written by blood and Gaga and THEN passed around to other producers. we don’t have receipts, we don’t know who did what, we don’t know the state of the song before or after bloodpop. Regardless, there is no evidence that blood “ruined” anything.
