I still love it but perfect celebrity sound for every song would be heaven

bornthisway51 186
What a beautiful, raw interview. Great, respectful and insightful questions! I could really feel the emotion jumping off the page from Gaga's words as well

I know there used to be a NYT magazine insert at one point. Just went to the store to pick up a copy and didn’t see it in the Sunday magazine, unless I’m blind lol.

For whatever gripes people have, you can’t deny this album feels like all the material she never let herself release before bc it didn’t fit an album

She’s so eloquent and well spoken. And she really works hard to talk about how her priorities have evolved without disrespecting anyone still implicated in areas she used to prioritize that she doesn’t as much now. She really seems so much happier and so much more mature. When the interviewer asks if this new calm persona might really just be another type of character she’s putting on, I love that she says “No, but I know why you’re asking me that.” She’s constantly validating him and is so aware of how she might be perceived. It’s so clear how much she has internalized constantly being a public figure but has really made peace with it. She says that “over five years ago” she was in a very dark place and she didn’t feel she was making her best music then. It was in response to a question about whether she thought great music was often created out of tense times and whether her current happiness might impact her ability to make good music.
