banjosnap 368
ARUTW. The vocal is superior to all her other ballads, it builds, it makes sense, the subject matter is a heart punch, it's fun to sing, it's powerful, it's showstopping, brilliant, k-totally unique. More importantly that's Gaga in her most comfortable place. She's not playing Elton (speechless) or Whitney (INLA), or Stevie Nicks (Joanne). Just herself. It's funny you put the beast on here. It's not really a ballad
Lord Axel 824
I thought Speechless would always be my favorite but when ASIB came out, ARUTW snatched that spot ʟɪᴠɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ɢᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ꜱɪʟᴠᴇʀ ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ϟ†▽✰𝒿 ~Ɐ
Killa 17,481
Speechless Is Just very direct and straightforward. Always Remember has a slight sound effect that i don't love, and they continue to use It. Maybe i love that composition the Most. Blade of grass could have been a Better Song. The idea of the Song Is so simple and beautiful but the Song, Melody arrengement etc doesn't convey It. And the chorus Is Just so ... I think that One and the Beast Will sound so much Better on the tour. Still i love how She keeps giving new kinds of ballads and Power ballads. Tò me She shines in those the most. But the rock Power ballad Is where She still hasn't completely smashed. Maybe its not for her, She keeps getting on the cliché of the genre. I still love Brown yes but id love a new version with a bit more soul and blues maybe. I never listen tò It. Million reasons has many musical beautiful aspects that make listen tò It for example. Even though i don't love It.
