In fact, thematically I think the combination of Blade of Grass + DWAS is a beautiful end to MAYHEM and my favorite closer to any of her albums. And I will say this - the ballads on Mayhem (Blade of Grass, The Beast and DWAS) are among her very best ever, along with the known songs from ASIB and Edge of Glory which I consider to be a rock ballad. Her delivery on Mayhem is strong, reserved enough and poignant. Unlike Hold My Hand and 1000 Doves which had a lot of repetitive wording and feel exhausting to me.
