Her love for music is all over this project. I understand why her interview with Zane Lowe was done in that Lower East Side bar. This album is a distillation of the purest, truest, most authentic Gaga—and not just sonically. There’s an attention to detail that, I think, we haven’t had since Born This Way. Each song is masterfully crafted, has a life of its own, tells a story. It feels like she has true ownership of this project on every aspect. I could loop each song over and over and discover something new on every listen. I believe she has truly reawakened her passion for music while making this record. I think she’s had trouble connecting with that part of herself over the last decade. It shows that she’s had a lot of fun making this album, and it makes me so happy. The album is just incredible.

Sounds like the music that's really from her heart. In the best way, I can totally see her releasing this music if (a) she didn't explode to become Lady Gaga and (b) dance/EDM didn't become big
