The shade here is a bummer. She obviously has the ability. She obviously has the talent. She explained what happened at the awards show, said she knew she could do better. And now she's doing better. 

Isnt it more interesting to be supportive of artists trying to do their best and branching out? Plus, we get new music out of it.

But who said anything about participation trophies? It's just weird to be mean about an artist making the best out of a less than perfect situation. It's not like she's being delusional about the performance. If she lipped it, y'all would be making fun of that too. So what could she have done to avoid people being cruel?
