Those assholes couldn't let her get away unscathed. Out of all the 7 nominations that movie had, was this really one of the two it needed? It would bother me a whole lot less if it actually made sense. Neither Gaga nor Joaquin won their acting nominations, so why would they win for worst screen combo? Jerry Seinfeld and Amy Schumer won their acting awards for Unfrosted, so why didn't they win it? They are the only two nominees who won their acting awards, so how could they logically not win this? This just smacks of voting manipulation to make sure Joker got at least 2 wins so it could feature as one of the worst received of the night. Clearly, it wasn't that hated if it only won 2 of 7 nominations. They could've redeemed themselves, realised the error of their ways and last minute given all those awards to Emelia Perez, to get ahead of the Oscars and make a joke out of them. And they've done last minute stuff like that before. But no, they went for silly targets instead of the real enemy. This had better not weaken Gaga's chances of acting Oscar glory or even acting chances further down the line because she deserves it. The Razzies chose to pick on a clearly talented actress for laughs when they know this could ruin her acting reputation. I don't care what anyone says, winning a Razzie affects your reputation. Still find it wild that none of them clearly watched it. Guaranteed if the full public fallout about it happened from day one, those nominations would look very different. I'd like to know if some sort of reference was made to it at the ceremony but I guess we'll never know.
