Gaga 'refused' performing in Bucharest club in the early 2000s for 'being ugly'

Joshua Castellano, the owner of clubs in Bucharest and Mamaia, recently said that, in the early 2000s, he had the opportunity to welcome Lady Gaga to one of his locations, but he refused the proposal.

"No, she was ugly. She was really ugly back then. $10,000 plus plane ticket, plus hotel, plus she was coming with 4-5 people after her. For what? She only had one song, why take it? If she beautiful, if she looked good to the eye... I took many because they were prettier, but I also turned down many," said the club owner, when asked why he didn't accept Lady Gaga to perform at one of his venues in Bucharest, on the "Fain și Simplu" podcast.

Asked if he regretted the gesture made towards the artist, Castellano vehemently denied it:

 "Never. Why should I be sorry? The train only passes once."

As a woman who experienced these same kind of heartbreaking comments from some random guys about my face, this is disgusting. In high school/college these fckers used to say that I was a shrimp with a nice body and an ugly face... When you're not a pretty girl, straight guys treat you as a boy that should be mocked (idk but they have filters with pretty girls). 

So seeing this chick with an aquiline nose like me winning so hard make me feel really happy. 

Fck his club, Gaga can fill stadiums. 

Fck his look, Gaga is prettier and had better looking bfs than him. The whole world even believed that she had an affair with Bradley Cooper (even if I know it's fake, he's the dream bf of many girls so they probably felt jealous af haha).

Club promoters are such pieces of work with incredibly inflated egos.

Typically clubs are so hollow with creepy sinister people working behind the scenes.

I won’t listen to his interview, but I’ll assume he’s proud he turned a superstar down, like some kind of flex.
