Rocky‘s lawyer claims Rihanna didn't brought kids to court as a ploy for sympathy

Even though A$AP Rocky‘s felony shooting case has been put to bed, the rapper’s lawyer is still coming to the rapper and his family’s defense. In a new interview, Joe Tacopina addressed claims that Rihanna only brought the famous couple’s two young kids, 2-year-old RZA and 1-year-old Riot Rose, to court as a “ploy” to garner sympathy — something the attorney unilaterally shut down. 

“One day Rihanna brought the babies to court, and people were thinking it was a ploy, like some sort of maneuver to get the jury to feel sympathy,” he said on the show. “The jury’s not feeling sympathy; they know he has a wife and kids.”

“It was more because it was the last day of the trial … she brought them to court because that could’ve been the last time he’d seen his kids for a decade or more,” Tacopina continued. “That’s why she brought them. The prosecutor made a big deal of it in his summation, which I think was a fatal mistake.”

Im not sure, but I think if ur found guilty, they immediately take you out of the court room. You are not allowed to leave and say hi to your family.

She's basically bankrupt now, that's why she's planning a stadium tour even knowing she won't be able to sell them out

she brought them to the courtroom at the beginning of the closing arguments. he could still spend time with kids during jury deliberations.

I'm joking  A couple of days ago there was a rumour that Rihanna was planning to perform some shows in stadiums (I believe in the UK) this year but during the ANTI tour she performed at a half empty stadium  She hasn't released in years so I was joking about her having to tour after losing all her money trying to bribe the whole judicial system to get her man out of prison

I feel like he's guilty.. bc it got all the way up to a jury trial.. if it was really a misunderstanding I can't imagine it getting there.. idk

one the the jurors said that they felt that there was a crime committed and most of them did believe that prop gun was actually real firearm, but per instructions they couldn’t vote guilty and they didn't have enough evidence

the music video was released in 2022

The gun was never found so it was inevitable the jury would have to rule not guilty. Without the key piece of evidence how can anyone say someone is guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
