I despise that we gave this girl a platform when the only reason she’s famous is from the creativity of POC on TT. Literally the Kardashian of Pop music. An untalented  person that’s famous for the name and has no acting, creating, or singing abilities to back her up.

What's with the hype with her?

Her songs and videos are good (thanks to the producers and directors). But she has no perspective or anything interesting to say on interviews. I wouldn't call her an artist if we're being frank. 

Serious question though and not to be too much of a hater: for those that are so intrigued by her, why is that?

I into found out about her cause she’s a huge Gaga Stan and recorded+released NOBTR, then her feature on Charli’s Von Dutch remix REALLY got me intrigued. Then she started releasing these fun sexy pop bops that just get STUCK in your head  add on top of all of that her great photo shoots and her unapologetically fierce attitude, she exudes main pop girl energy and that’s so fun and refreshing.

I think she cares about music, like yeah she has a PR team but she was an internet kid so I defo think she has many references in mind. There's also videos of her singing in the studio with Charli, so she's not a poser. 

She's also a rich kid so she has some cultural knowledge and interests (it sounds stereotypical but that's sociology). She posts stories of her going watch Broadway comedies or these kind of stuffs. 

I think that she also has the "it girl" magic thing that other popstars have. I mean Rihanna is a pop queen, a legend, but she buy demos. But her personnality is genuine, she has a nice voice, she's an entertainer and her songs slaps. Well Addison is far from Ri's lvl lol but they have in common their "it girl" thing.

How does that correlate? Charli's whole thing was latching onto Stan Twitter it-girl culture and pushing influencers of dubious talent/morality that she thinks are "iconic"  see: Julia Fox, Dasha Nekrasova. Addison Rae is not an exception.

Yes but I like entertainment and pop. They do good musics so it's not a bad thing at all.
